Ygritte goes quiet and thoughtful as she listens to him, and there's some twisting of her mouth, a little frown she hides in his chest. She's only beginning to realize, after all, what has been denied to her and the other Free Folk because they'd remained forced beyond the Wall-- what's worse, though, are the flickers of realization that her own life and story, how little of it mattered to anyone, in the end.
She can't bear to think of it now, the sinking realization of being a stop along Jon's way, and thankfully, Steve's kissing her now. Chasing the press of his lips and the taste of his tongue, she lets him draw her away from those thoughts. Besides, she likes that he wants to do this again, make a plan for it.
"Then that's what we'll do," she agrees, each word bumping against his lips. "You've got quite a talent for it, after all. It's probably better we didn't do that in the hallway."
